Julia Sorensen ~ Terrior

Terrior

November 6 - December2, Opening Reception November 6 5-8pm

Applied to art, the idea of terrior - that soil, water, weather, and topography combine with a human element to determine the specific flavor of a region - reminds us that art carries an undeniable sense of place and environmental memory. In this show, abstract artist Julia Sorensen draws on her experiences traveling in the US and abroad to convey the artistic terrior of some of her favorite places.
