FELT ART
Wet felting is the process of using water, mild soap and friction to make felt out of wool fibers — much like when you accidentally shrink your wool sweater or socks in the washer and dryer. Felt can be made light, soft and wearable and can be combined with silk and other materials, or it can be made heavy, thick and durable for tougher uses, such as upholstery. The felting process allows for endless color and design possibilities. We have incorporated felt art into a number of functional piece of furniture. To see more

We have lived at Lost Mile Homestead since 1985, where we raise Angora goats, have an organic blueberry business, and now collaborate as fiber artist and furniture maker.
